Just look at the temperature on the website. It's +1 right now so don't go up and expect blower pow. Based on experience, if the temp on the website shows around -3, you'll have a great day for coastal standard.

On hill intel says there's plenty of fresh but it's heavy. I would be up but I'm on the injured list with busted kneecaps.

Yes it will be heavy, it was heavy at Seymour last night

This is quite useful when planning a trip 6c at the airport tends to = mashed potatoes at Cypress on the Lions and Eagle chairs.

Snow wasn't heavy at all, about a foot in the trees and 20cm's in the open spots. Edit this was thursday night.

No one was riding between moons and the green run resulting in run after run of nice powder. It was obviously icy undernearth if you didn't find the deep blows though.

All in all after two weeks of no snow this was a 10/10 night for me, barely anyone there either(thurs night).

Clunking is for retards.

Crust on crust tonight off the groomers. Plus it was pretty lined up around 6:00 or 7:00. Mostly clear, but then the fog rolled in late. Hopefully there's some new snow coming.

Went up this morning. Heavy pow. I was enjoying it when I was the only one tracking it up. By the time a bunch of people got through it I gave up. The chop just got more and more solid as the morning progressed. I left before noon. It was fun while it lasted though!

I can't believe I am asking this, but how are the groomed runs up at Cypress?
Rehabbing from an accident and my physio gave me to OK cruise the groomers this weekend and just don't want to head up tomorrow if the runs are icy.

I have no filter …

In the history of sucking, nothing sucked as much as today at Cypress.
It was raining right to the top of Sky chair, there was zero visibility and the snow was wet cement.
It was horrible.
And yet it was still better than work, so I'm glad I went.

You forget your lunch tray at home and couldn't steal one from the cafeteria?

 I brought it along and at the end of the day ran back to my truck to do 3 laps on it

I had a blast on the skis, seriously thinking about picking up a pair of boots, then trying to get some binders and skis later on when they are going for the cheap
