1 1/2 inches of rain Thursday night? Ermagerd! That'll make a mess of things. The North Shore mountains have received alot of snow this season, but the (warmish)temperature fluctuations have been bad.

Anyone know when Cypress officially closes this year? I have a tradition of getting a few buddies together for a sunny weekend afternoon of slush, beer and sun.
Seymour is open weekends all april, im sure cypress will be similar.
we did a skin up to brockton one year June 30th switched over to mtb in the parkinlot and rode down to deep coveā¦. then went to work good day
on the website Cypress says open til mid-April. i would expect at least until then, and possibly even opening Sat/Sun in late April if the weather is good.
Me and a buddy got up tonight at 6pm and skinned up to the top of Strachan. ~15cms of blower snow on top of a pretty firm crust. As they hadn't opened Sky today, we rode top gun, which was great in most spots, but the crust was definitely there. Turns near the bottom were sweet (more because we got more used to the conditions).
I miss winter.
