It's not uncommon for mount washington to have both the deepest base and also many times upwards of a meter in 24 hrs, but this cycle has been epic!

I stayed overnight on the 23rd and their report is pretty much true. Heres an idea about how much snow there was…

Girlfriends car was clear at 8pm the night before and this pic was taken about 9am. We knew where the car was parked, but actually had to search for it in its 10 foot approximate location because the snow had COMPLETELY engulfed it in just over 12 hours.

This is what he had to dig out to be able to get out of the chalet in the morning. Id guess theres 2-3 feet of snow under our feet in this pic as well.

I have a somewhat different POV

It sounds good when you read it BUT everybody can read it SO everybody goes SO didnt they have to close the road ,the lifts are crowded , you gotta dig out the resort, the resort breaks more equipment … big hassels

IME localy ,8cms for 3 days in a row specialy if more is getting blown in across the coast mtns is way better than than 25 cms of fresh cuz anyone who reads 25cms books off but they don't book off for 8

And if it starts snowing after the snow forcast gets recorded I can have 1st tracks all afternoon on designated runs
