This pic makes me drool:

you wouldn't believe the half of it. The sand is so hard packed it's like riding ashphalt downhill, but it swoops and berms, unlike a road.

Hey heckler, I did not know you were a mudbunny……. ;) Sweet pics and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun riding to be had in Cali. :)

The xc bike cali style kinda makes me scratch my head…

well, we were shuttling, and he was way ahead of me on my 5" and 5" with lightweight tires, but yeah, I couldn't figure it out either. Those boys new how to pedal up and down a trail fast!

What a great idea - trailbuilding stimulus packages!

The US Forest service is getting $650M from the economic stimulus package.

Not all for trails of course, nor would that necessarily be a good thing. Last time the Forest Service got a trails grant locally they hired a contractor who took a sweco down the trail which bench-cut a 5-foot wide pathway where there used to be tight, technical singletrack.

There is fear the same will happen on Noble canyon as the equestrians are complaining its too rocky to take horses on. :stupid:

Cool pics, glad you got to ride this one
