Strava have launched an automatic routing capability to Strava (Premium only) so I've been playing around with it a bit.
You can select running or cycling and road or dirt plus route length. So I selected a 50km dirt ride from my house in North Van and it suggested 3 routes, all of which took me over the very top of some of the North Shore mountain tops or ridges into the watersheds.
One route suggested riding down the Grouse Grind!

You want comedy, google maps a car route from Richmond to Mount Seymour.
Then go sit at the Lillooet Road gate just north of the NV cemetery during the Perseids meteor shower. Offer the poor Metro Van guy a beer while he turns away car after car, telling them the mountain is not accessible from there. The line stretched back to Capilano U lots.
I couldn’t make this shit up. The meteors were visible from the gravestones, but not from the road with a cell phone in every passengers hand.
just use komoot. cheaper anyways
