Kettle Valley Railway - Hope to Merritt

Anyone ridden this section in the last year or so that can comment on the conditions?

Wondering if it will be passable on a fully loaded touring bike (700x28 Marathon Plus tires) or if I should stick to the highway.

Don't settle for anything less than brass nipples.
