I’m doing a small tour along the KVT early next week from Hydraulic Lake to Penticton. I’m planning to do some mtb riding while in the area and was wondering if anyone has any trail/ride/loop recommendations. I’ll be with family so 2-2.5 hour rides are probably the max I have time for. I’m planning on two days in the Crawford Trails area and (maybe) a day in the 3 Blind Mice area. Looking at TrailForks I was thinking at least a full Vapour lap while in the Crawford area. This is some really last minute planning, so any info would be helpful and appreciated.

We did a good loop that included Vapour

This was a bit over two hours, you could shorten it.

We also did this shuttle, Surf and Turf was pretty fun and you could do this as a loop too.

Mice is good, you'll probably get lost…
I'd also suggest Rock Oven for a 2+hour loop, or Wiltse is a quick 1hr loop with very pemby like rock.

I don't have a ride log for Rock oven oop, below is the shuttle we did, but ride up Ward, down Rock Oven, Shin Skinner trail option is not on Trailforks…

My go-to ride is up Lost Lake, down Crawford Trail DH and back along Earring.
And theres lots of easy riding for the family along the lower bench area as well.
And if you got a second day, you gotta hit Smith Creek. The Gruel up and Feel the Love for the down.
Email me when you're in town if you need a partner. My schedule is day to day at the moment.

Sweet! I had been eyeing the Lost Lake -[HTML_REMOVED] Vapour and Crawford DH -[HTML_REMOVED] Hillbilly. May try to hit Rock Oven as well. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the information and offer. The “tentative” plan is family cruising in the morning, heading out for rides in the afternoon/evening. If I can carve out a dedicated day/time, I’ll definitely hit you up.

I had fun on Vapour but its definitely rough! surf and turf is newer… but still gamey.
