LOL. We'll see, the paper may have miss quoted him too, I don't know yet. I expect this unfortunate incident to be a catalyst for positive movement.

I have noticed the problems arising since Kim returned from Whistler as well. :)

hol-ee shit but that's a big hole

Well Kim has caused me to be lost in the woods on more than one occasion.

Then O'Neal should stop making retarded comments in the paper. A smarter response would have included something like "but we're working with local user groups to implement better signage, etc etc".

I think that was just a quick "cover your butt" answer. The District of Mission and FVMBA have been working together in a bit of a grey area for a couple of years and hopefully this will help to speed up the process of a written agreement.

See, that's the difference between Kim and Tom - With Kim, we get lost. It's always a grand adventure, and I'm not knocking it. With Tom, I find new trails - an amazing number of times. More grand adventures.

In fact… every ride is a grand adventure - fuck it.

What can you really say about a slanted story like this? It is made to look like she had no fault and behaved rationally, but she had some short comings. The other guy is covering his ass for having an outdated map, and having another handy user group to blame. Even though bikers have nothing to do with one un-prepaired individual getting lost by thier own actions, and not be capable to deal with it. BS.

WTF, Over?

Tough to fight the water on that trail…it's one continuous downhill with no grade reversals and nowhere to get rid of the water as the trail surface is lower than either side of the trail in most spots.

^^^^ We rode it sunday and it was even bad then, like a rock bobsled track in spots.

Was the puddle at the bottom of the momentum steep decent spot mostly gone? We got it to start draining, but there was a lot of water in it at the time.

WTF, Over?
