Season start is 2 weeks away. No U.S. stop this year as Windham's 3-year contract ran out. Plus the fact they lost alot of money. I'm hoping Stevie Smith continues to be hot this year. There's some high hopes pinned on him. I've seen Gwin win enough. Time for someone else to shine.

This season is going to be interesting - I think Stevie tasted blood, and wants more. Same goes for Hart and Fairclough, for example. Quite a few of the "young ones" want a piece of the cake. Hill is on a new bike, is apparently back on form (Aussie Nationals) and then there are Minnaar, Gee Atherton and Gwin.

I could imagine that this will be Steve Peat's last season, and that he starts to shred at enduro races the next few years, as Barel and some others, former WC DH racers already do.

DEfinitely going to be exciting.

Hill brought the level of riding up across the board in the mid 2000s; Gwin's done the same over the past two years.. the beauty is that we fans benefit from watching an ultra-competitive field gunning for the top of the podium. Notice how close the times were in the few early-season races? Can't wait to watch it all shake out

Such a mean Corse - i been studying results from last year and The course is running pretty dry. Womens times were already 9 sec faster than i thought. Now i know how Hocky fans get all serious.weird how Josh Bryceland crashed -Nick Beer flatted. And Troy Bronson was leading team mate Gwin down the corse.

Storybook day for the Athertons. I don't mind if Gwin continues to get results like today. Stevie had a good run. Looks like he had a small hiccup that may have cost him the win. B.C. girl Holly Feniak finished 22nd.

Congrats to Gee [HTML_REMOVED] Rachael, that's gotta be a great feeling for them.
