Well done Shirk. These events were a blast and todays was the crown jewel. The longer stages with some pedaling was awesome. Everyone is a sucker for a little pain right?

That was exhausting but probably the best course yet. Thanks a lot to Brian and all the volunteers for a great series and the yummy burgers tonight. It was great to see so many people out there. I wonder if Wade Simmons beat me.

That was definitely super fun tonight!! I actually got concerned I had taken a wrong turn on the first stage as it was soooooo long! Waited for another rider to come up before heading to the finish (200 meters later…DOH!)
Thanks of for the post-ride BBQ and as always, a HUGE thanks to the volunteers! :dizzy:

Huge turn out tonight 97 riders (missing one results from a late card turned in).

WTF are we going to do next Thursday now that they are over???

Also the final count is in. We had 203 total people participate in the series. :)

29 new people got themselves out tonight just for the last event.

Great event.

Crashed my brains out!

I have been mostly off the bike since the first race and it was great to race again (though volunteering also has its merits!). Great vibes out there tonight, so good to see so many people out.

As Brian said, what are we going to do next Thursday?

I might actually work a full day Thursday. I look forward to a big series next year, as its so nice to cut out early from work a couple days a week in the summer, especially with the weather we've been having:-) It's been a great time Brian, thanks to you and the vollies and the sponsors for the event!

I don't know if I got slower or if everyone else got faster? Maybe a little of both.

Tons of fun, loved the course - Executioner / Dreamweaver is a blast.

I would be game for Thursday evening group rides, personally. :dizzy:

There were some 'colourful' characters on the course last night:

I suspected the skin suit would make an appearance! And no DQ, of course! So much awesomeness and I had to be sitting on a beach on Pender Island….! Glad to be able to vollie and race most of the series.
Well done, Brian!

Apologies to Wade. I didn't know the race was going down Griffin so I wasn't prepared for it when you came up behind me. I tried to pull over out of the way but I guess I screwed that up too. Anyway, I take full responsibility for screwing up your run. Sorry mate.

Sustainable will be around forever.
