6 should be GMG.

Also stages on Circus, Walk in the Clouds, GMG, and Whatchamacallit. Timed climb stage up Pile of Rocks.

Will there be a lifeguard at the pond? :P

Pond? It's a swamp. I'd rather it be a pond… falling into a swamp would suck

I agree that's probably a safe bet.

Looking for a first aid volunteer for tonight. If anyone knows someone with first aid certification that can come out tonight it would be a huge help.

Curious what the turn out will, know a bunch of people not riding due to the long hike-a-bike to stage 2… camping out at the heron pond teeter with a lawn chair and beer might be in order… :)

that bunch of people are probably not afraid of the long hike-a-bike, but are afraid of being heckled at the heron pond
something along the lines of people being more afraid of public speaking than death

being over 50 my resiliency to heckling is greater than my resiliency to being cold and wet, so humour me with some witty insults if I walk

Do it.

I just rode ladies earlier in the day…

I wound up walking down more than would have been dignified anyway.

That was super fun tonight!! First time down Ladies and !!! Teeter over the pond was a huge mental game. Did the log but figured I'd walk the teeter…didn't feel like taking a swim…
Hike up BP was fine and the other two stages were fast and FUN!! Thanks to the volunteers and NSMBA!

The log is the sketchy part! Once you're at the teeter you're pretty much in the clear.

Great race tonight. I had a lot of fun. This series has been awesome and I'm sad it's coming to an end next week.

Good times last night.

I am debating between releasing next weeks course in hopes that we get a huge turn out for the last event vs my original idea of keeping it blind.

Is knowing and pre-riding the courses affecting people coming out? Or are we in traveling/holiday season and just expect lower numbers?

We really want the last event to be a big one.

I noticed there has been less and less posts about the race on the Facebook page each week. Perhaps plugging next week's event early and often will help, with mention of BBQ after. If you are sticking with the blind course, playing that up and getting people guessing could build some hype.

I'm honestly not too sure about announcing the course vs. not announcing. I guess it depends on the course. From what I can tell, a few people sat this week's race out because they perceived Ladies as too hard or the HAB on BP as too long (neither was the case btw), so maybe no announcement would have been better.

In any case, you kind of spilled the beans on next week's course (Digger, Walk in the Clouds, GMG, etc.) so it's kind of a non-issue at this point :P.
