I'm excited about riding a new course this year - Apex. The old Penticton course always had some character, but its good to see it go.

i always liked the penticton course because it gave xc weenies like me a chance and also it had some super fun corners with the big ruts and what not. That stuff was fun.

If somebody showed up and raced on a Bullit would they get laughed off the mountain?

no one judges bikes at a race, (its not road racing its DH) it just makes a good time that much more impressive

a bullit is more than enough fire power for sport level racing
and for the record; steve smith destroyed the competition last year on an old, cracked AC1.

And Brian Enns podiumed twice on a hardtail in Master Expert last year! So it just goes to show, its more about the rider than the bike. Of course the bike helps, buts it still all about the dude on board.

Bryon's a bit of an oddity though. He's just as fast on a rigid. Probably because his calfs are larger than my waist. Must be the pilates.

Brian's calves are larger than most peoples thighs! I thought were so large from the Stillettos he wears! :D

Sun Peaks this year is going to be off the hook. World Masters, Canada Cup and BC Cup all on the same week-end. Intense.

Looking forward to the Apex course. I've never ridden there so it'll be fun to learn something new.
