Well, for the haters, it was a great day. Lots of fun and the rain slowed the course down a bunch. Good way to finish the TOM off.
Regardless of many opinions, I think the race was a good test of overall fitness and bike handling skill. It's easy to call out the punters on the descents, but if you are a 4hr finisher you have some work to do.
I will miss the annual bike ride and related smack talking with friends in preparation for the race.
