Sea to Sky Enduro Series
fun course! always love ridge trail and farside down!
Thanks for coming out everyone, good times today.
Next up is Squamish next weekend July 5, then bike park/Blackcomb July 26 to wrap things up for the season.
Nice work Clark, it was a fun, peddly day! The weather was perfect for it.
On to Squamish, my guess is as follows:
Cheshire Cat
Man Bewbs
Rupert
Credit Line
CSHM
Good times, see you Saturday!
We have our course:
1. Entrails
2. Gouranga
3. Mark My Word
4. Credit Line
5. Crouching Squirrel/Kiki
Who can tell me about Mark My Word and Gouranga? Good thing I've never ridden the 2 hardest of the trails.
Sick course! Haven't done mark, gouranga is well lots of tricky rock lines, like all the trails in that area lol

riding everything blind myself. anything to watch out for? the multi line options messed me up a bit last race.
Might be wise to get a pre-lap in on Gouranga. However, the race line will probably not involve the bigger slab line at the end, which keeps it fun.
As far as Mark my Word - it is one of my favorites.
Two types of reviews on that one. Some say its not flowy, and has punchy climbs, and short slabs with hard compressions, others will argue it is has perfect flow. Expect to be rapid firing your reverb on that trail. Also expect to be breathing f-in hard by the time you finish that lap. Mark My Word - is a classic trail (i.e. slightly old school). Ride it fast with reckless abandon and it will feel like a sweet salsa dance with a 21 year old cuban lady. Ride it slow and it will feel like dancing in a pond of honey.
Great trail choices that will test many types of skills.

Nice analogies on MMW. I will aim for smooth and fast, maybe somewhere between the Cuban lady and the pond of honey.
To answer the question above about things to watch out for, I'm only familiar with stages 1, 4 and 5. Entrails really only has one spot with a couple line choices - the rock slab about 1/3 of the way down. The ride-around would be slower for sure and it's not a tough slab and easy to see coming. Otherwise, the rest that I know of is fairly straightforward. Credit Line has a couple tough climbs that will likely leave me running my bike, but you get a nice, consistent downhill for the last chunk of it. Crouchng Squirrel/Kiki is a fast rip with a bit of tech on some rocks in the middle.
This should be awesome. This is one of my favourite spots to ride.
Have fun out there guys. Sad to have to miss this one.
i have yet to ride one of my events. damn kids. haha.
great course, have fun everyone!
Yeehaw, burly course. That was fun!
This race rocked. Organization was dialed, taping [HTML_REMOVED] marshaling was excellent. And the course selection kicked ass; so many neat tech lines; riding blind just added to the fun / surprise factor. Fantastic trails out there. Well done, guys!

Marc My Word was pretty exciting having never ridden it before. It's definitely a trail that's better if scoped previously. There was definitely some walking.
