Haha! I guess I need to go check out Pile O' Rocks tomorrow.
I'll be going into it blind…can't wait!

riding blind, 2 spirit of enduro points
as good as GNAR points! Hey, there's an idea….
I'm currently compiling a list for a spirit of enduro bingo card, if anyone has some suggestions….I've got all the standard ones covered; halfshell+goggles, enduro walking, etc…
Spare equipment taped all over bike to avoid riding with a pack?
i'm thinking about running 2 bottle cages tomorrow…. is that enduro or XMB?

It's weak sauce. Just drink out of the ditch. Pure, clean, fresh.

mind. blown.
I am not riding in WEA as I have guests in town and had promised them some laps on the lower trails mid-late afternoon if the racing was finished. Will they be opened up at some point from the race?
And no….trying to convince them to enter (although entertaining) would not happen….
Good luck to everyone tomorrow

only the trails that are part of the race will be closed.
floppy, roadside and upper/lower griffen should be clear by noon
leopard, kirkford, crinkum crankum should be clear by 12:30 - 1pm.
everything else will be west of espresso and in the dreamweaver to dempsey braemar area ( below Baden Powell).
Baden will be closed between pipeline and mtn hwy between about 1pm to 5pm at the latest which is when we anticipate the last riders to finish…

My legs are hurty.
Good times. Definitely lived up to the moniker "Wade's Excellent Adventure". I didn't study the map in great detail so experienced a few surprises like the traverse after Expresso, and didn't really know much about the zone where jerry-rig, pink starfish, etc were located. Nice to see new zones that fall outside my normal loops.
Huge props to the supporters (Rocky Mountain Bicycles, Marzocchi, Race Face, Bell Helmets, Oakley, Solestar) of the race. There was so much swag being thrown around afterwards at the pub. People were stoked!
Most importantly, huge thanks to Maya, Brian, Wade, and the slew of volunteers: NSMBA raised over $4500 for the trails! This more than covers any repairs required from the race so there's some good cash left for new and improved trails!
