i'm riding squamish. emphasis on 'riding' rather than 'racing'; i haven't ridden any of these trails, so will be going in totally blind. yeah, i don't get out much. any punji stick [HTML_REMOVED] alligator infested chasm gaps i should keep a heads up for? i've got absolutely no idea what to expect, but i hear they make good trail in squampton so figured this would be a good motivator to check some out…

racing the homebuild, huh? that's some proper testing.

Yep.

I've ridden AM and Fool's Gold. No punji stick gaps of death. Actually I think the last time I rode AM was on a hardtail, been a few seasons.

Also Somewhere Over There, I don't recall anything major to watch out for.

No you don't need a WORCA/PVTA/NSMBA membership to participate in any of the events, but there is an extra cost for non-members at some.

Pemberton event is $40 for PVTA / WORCA members, and $50 for non members. The PVTA membership is only $10 so would be great if people kicked down that extra $10 for their trails and just became a member. WORCA membership is $50.

Shore event is going to be $40 for NSMBA members and $50 for non-members. NSMBA membership is $40.

WORCA events are going to be $40 for WORCA members and $50 for non-members.

The Squamish events were not able to be run via SORCA so they have set their own pricing as they a different cost structure. Major proceeds from the two events are going back to SORCA in the end so the trails win.

All proceeds from the WORCA/PVTA/NSMBA events are going back into the trails.

Is there anyone going up to Squamish tomorrow that has space for one more?

An NSMBA member approached me at last nights Toonie looking for help finding a ride. She is an intern for BC Bike Race and here from France.
