will it be possible to register for the whole series, or is it race-by-race only?

I'll enter a Shore event if time permits. I entered the BC Enduro out of ignorance of this Sea to Sky series existing… Here goes nothing!

registration and fees for each event are determined by each community, so there will be a bit of variation. no total-series price this year, might do that next year if there's interest.

What are fees looking like they'll be, and how will riding association membership requirements work?

north van is coordinating their event with wade's (ie. it is wade's). shirk can fill us in about membership requirements and fee when they've ironed that out.

squamish is charging $80 per event or $150 for both. their events are not affiliated with sorca, so membership is irrelevant: http://squamishenduro.com

worca's june 28 event is on valley trails. cost will be $40 for worca members and $50 for non-members (as always, memberships are appreciated!). we're running it as a fundraiser for our big sproat alpine trail project (more info to follow). our july 26 event will be piggy-backed onto WB's bike park enduro. not sure about cost yet, but likely similar.

pemby's event will be similar cost to ours. pvta membership encouraged - a smokin' deal at only $10, a good investment to support the world-class trail network they have.

Much like. My budget this year involves a few less road trips but some more local racing and getting memberships to all 5 riding areas I frequent the most: Fraser Valley, Shore, Squamish, Whistler, and Pemby. Happy to see some good racing happening in the sea to sky.

Have thought about signing up for this (assuming there's still space) but have never done any sort of race/event before. As someone who has only been riding for a year or two, what level of riding should I be at? No illusions that I will be that competitive, just wanting to have a fun time out riding.

You will have fun. I did the FVMBA series last year and it was super chill. People were just self seeding themselves at the first stage and then it spreads out after that. Super friendly folks, lots of chatting at the stage starts and then go ride the stage at your own pace. I'd say this race format is less intimidating than any others I've done.

Jon-boy.

Do it. There will be something for everyone. Emphasis is on having a good time and giving back to trails.

Squamish is tomorrow.

Who all is riding? Need some good old bench racing smack talk.

Pretty sure I'll be faster than Mr. Bond on my hardtail (bold claim that I'll likely loose as Bondo has been HAMMERING on the bike now that he's stepped down from NSMBA prez)
