Only caught a bit of the dual slalom on saturday but it looked like a really well put on fun event. The Tippie/Leclerc announcing combo was money "hey tippie why dont you go ride down a gravel pit" hahaha

I had a good time even though I got smoked and had a sh!t run. I'm torn on the steep section; its really the best part of the course for me but we had a few of the kids on our team get banged up on it.

If there was an easier ride around option for the little guys I think it would cause less congestion at that section of the course and prevent a few injuries.

Next year I'm praying for rain.

Why do so many people from the lower mainland complain about dust…. in KAMLOOPS??? Seriously, that's not dust. Try an interior moto race if you want to truly experience dust on a epic scale.

Probably for the same reasons you guys complain about the rain when you come out here.

I don't complain about the rain. The rain is awesome, especially having to compete in it. Something about attrition that makes it more special. I just don't understand why people complain about the conditions when conditions are pretty damn good. The 'groomed run' bike park mentality? Is that it?

Whatever, try going 70kms/hr and being able to see 5ft in front of you not knowing you you are going to run someone over or crash into something. Its truly scary. Its all about perspective, and since I've raced both mtb's and moto's in dusty conditions, I can tell you what real dust is like.

Anyway, this person is uploading training day photos or the RTR, in case anyone is interested.
