My initial course was a little different and came out at 30km/1550m. I would say this one is certainly no shorter or less elevation gain. A little Google Earth guessing and some math makes it look like the final course will be in the neighborhood of 1800M and 30-35km of riding. Big day!

Big day is right , all I can do is try and keep a steady pace at the back of the pack , biggest ride ever this will be for me :)

I put the route into Trailforks.

29km and 1871m of climbing according to the stats.

37.6km and 1550m elevation yesterday riding the course minus Rudy's from town. Hopefully people don't get over zealous and explode on Mackenzie cruise…

yeah I am not guns a blazing out of the gate LOL , and yeah on the chocolate , always have some in the bag , even got some caffeine shocks and I don,t drink coffee so they are used sparingly

ben is my superior not my minion. and I do not require anything, you do need to have a sense of humour though.

Nice thing about the course is that it's easy to bail out if bonked.

Ride stage 1 and 2 then bail down Radio Tower to Crosstown.

Or after riding Stage 1 and 2 ride out to Mosquito and skip the No Err and hit Stage 4.
