Course teaser… approximately 30km of riding with about 1500m of elevation gain. Number of stages has been decreased to four but they are all Pemberton classics. First riders are expected to finish around four hours. Now let's hope the Village of Pemberton cooperates.

details according to strava

39.3km, 1,777m 3:50:32 moving time. took us 7 hours with a casual lunch at the coffee co, shooting photos, telling jokes and such.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

Ugh, yeah stage 3 is going to be brutal. Any word if they will tape off any lines?

None that I can think of. Anything in particular you are concerned about?

Not at all, just when we were rolling through rusty and my buddy was guessing you'd tape off the roll that cuts the tight right to left corner and I was hoping nothing gets taped.

Keep in mind that you can drive from town to the Mackenzie parking lot and pedal up the FSR to Waco. Shaves off some kilometers.

So true Flip but $120 tickets from CN are not in the spirit either.

Great day on Saturday.

Huge props to Ian (twinone) for a great course and putting it all together.

Also props to the builders in Pemby that have build awesome trails.

The event has boosted the PVTA membership and added some more cash to their trail fund. With smiling racers and some cash raised for trails that's a mission accomplished for these events.

Definitely heard some guy muttering to himself "why didn't you just stick to your casual 15-20km rides ____"
