I like how the "sport" cats are only for those not from BC… haha

Dalen raced sport and Kuhn DNS'd in sport.

hol-ee shit but that's a big hole

Pro results are interesting…

Well hello there! I'm Thomas Vanderham, and even though I'm not really a Dh racer, I think I will show up to nationals and take 4th, just for fun! And oh, my brother, he'll take 5th. See you at Rampage!

he did race at worlds in '02 as a Junior, I'd think that probably makes him pretty quick.

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

Nothing sums up my life's achievements like my stuffed corpse, suplexing a cougar.

There's no denying his quickness - I just take a certain level of amusement from the Vanderhams' seemingly casual approach to this sort of thing…

How is their approach casual? Thomas and Ryan are both extremely talented on a bike. Both have done a good bunch of racing, and are really fast down any course.

You racing guys are too serious…

How many other races did they do this year???

It's like when Berrecloth showed up at the Hammerfest Island cup last year and threw doen 3rd place in expert men…it was his only race that year. I actually think its pretty damn cool (but also amusing).

Thomas put down a podium finish in the Neds race. Forget what spot.

do you think we'll ever hear the end of THAT?

I am happy, I may be many things but a guy that gloats? Dunno about that.

Props to all my team riders and friends.

Thanks to all that contributed, you know who you are, and some of you may not.

As I teach my racers, enjoy the moment but there is much work to be done still.

The BC Cup is my main focus and is still on the table for a few guys.

Props to DB for keeping me honest!

I am not so good at returning PM's as some have noticed.

Nicely done on the win Corey! You deserve it, you've been pinning it this year.

seemingly would be key….or so i think. Ryan although doing well at the nationals has been getting beat at the BC cup level. His type of course or a bad weekend for others…..doesn't really matter as he was standing on the podium and thats all that counts.Good for him, but it's not like he hasn't been racing before.

As for Thomas, when your team mate is likely the fastest canadian DH'er around and in the off season you get to ride with Mr Sam Hill for viddy segements….life is anything but casual.

And Thomas rides a bike for living, and competed at multiple World Cups. The Vanderhams are both seriously quick, but as mentioned there is very little "casual" about their approach or their riding.
