myself and a few friends are staying with mrraulduke for the weekend. We're planning on riding somewhere on Sunday. Not sure where yet. I'll leave that decision up to the locals.

Hey there, Any suggestions for good tires to run there if we are racing in rain/ mud… I have never ridden there but from the videos the course seems pedally with some roots. So I am guessing spikes would not be the answer? any suggestions of what the locals run there in the wet.

I would love for Nanaimo to fully embrace DH racing. I really hope this race is a success and that the scene grows. Nanaimo has so much potential. Don't take my surprise that Nanaimo is hosting a BC Cup as dissing it. It's good news for me and my hometown.
