Looks like they canceled quali's due to rain. Today was more practice. Should shuffle things up and make the finals more interesting.

Anybody know why he didn't race - the freecaster commentator said "…he failed to qualify through no fault of his own…" but didn't elaborate. Thx.

lot's of big names didn't qualify. a couple of the top 20 didn't make the cut, but get to race because they're in the top twenty. Kyle strait missed the cut. the times were pretty tight, so i'm not surprised vanderham didn't make the cut.

Given the nature of the race course, it was probably tough for Vanderham to justify possibly injuring himself and cutting a filming season short.

Thomas Vanderham doesn't need UCI points, he can just be all like, "Do you know who I am?"

I can't say I've tried that tactic yet. I'll let you know how it goes if I ever get around to trying it out.

looking at the overall before this weekend i was shocked to see smith top 10 overall. hadnt heard his name on the podium, but i guess he has been getting some solid results in his first season
