Well that sucks. Hope he recovers. I really don't think Mountainbike sites want to get into the for or against vaccinations.
It's a shitty situation for sure. Most people in his situation seem to fully recover so hopefully that's the case in his situation.
It's a bit quick to assume his career is over, and it's also presumptive to say it was the vax itself that caused the pericarditis when it may have been a faulty injection by the person administering the vaccine.
