will it be wet or dry?
long term weather forecast looks good
I can race after all now, yee haw
what's the downhill like when compared to say severed dick on seymour?
Use your SX w/ the seat slammer. Way better set-up. And the DH is faster and more wide open than Severed. Several line choices.
When is this thing?
Taprider- see you tonight. Go easy.

mudfest, or slippery rock fest? I noticed you are from SLO… I lived there for a couple of years. That area is quite honestly my favorite place anywhere:-)

Mine too, too bad there is no work there. We are still trying to figure out a way to get back.
I am actually going on vacation for the next 2 weeks for Sea Otter and I'm going to make a trip down there for a couple days. Super stoked.
Did you go to school there?

During the race, The B-Team will be running a 33x3 draw. A third for the winner, a third for WCR and a third for the club. $2 or 3 for $5.
We will also be running a post race fundraising BBQ. Yes, we will have veggie option for the hippies!
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
B-Team loves you (and your money!)
Looks like a bunch of rain is forecast for tomorrow. Off to my bike room to put some mud spikes on the Range I go.
Biking: As addictive as cocaine, twice as expensive!
:safrica: - :canada:
I did the first one but had to miss last years race so I was really looking forward to doing it again this year. Would have brought my Tallboy with beefier tires and my Reverb post. Would have been a perfect bike for the course.
Great new course, got rather muddy, as a few people mentioned "like riding through peanut butter" by the time everyone had done their practice runs.
Big rock roll was fun at the start, the ride around was probably trickier.

And Bogey, some one brought out his Tall Boy, a few 29ers, and a surprising number of DH bikes - must have been a killer on the muddy "peanut butter" climb.
Only thing that could have been better:
1. Dry, warm weather.
2. Winning a door prize, every number on either side of me called :(
3. A few more age categories for us older guys…
