Legendary BC mountain biking supporters John Henry Bikes, Ryders Eyewear and Schwalbe Tires are combining with event organizer West Coast Racing to help bring you a heap of swag and prizes.

New course sections for this year! Look for more juicy singletrack, that means no road sections, just one climb but expect a few new roots, routes, rocks and rolls! Fast times expected to be 12-15 minutes per run. This event is run as a time trial format with each rider leaving at 30 second intervals. Course will be marked for race day only.

Until Apr. 3/2011 we have early bird fees of only $15 for pre-registered riders who have a Cycling BC Citizen or UCI license, or only $20 for non-licensed riders.

NOTE: "Self-guided" changes to the course, including but not limited to moving of tape, rocks, logs, modifying or building lines or features will mean the immediate end of your race day, since we are guests of the CPTA, BC Hydro, and GRVD at this venue.

I'm in! I was there for the inaugural race but missed out last year. I have a feeling the B-Team will be out in full force to this one.

The race is April 10th. Unfortunately, I'll be working and will miss out on this year's race. It's too bad because it was an awesome event last year. I'm sure everyone will be all smiles again this year (at least after regaining the ability to breathe properly after the final uphill sprint or some other evil fun in this year's course!!)

I can't wait, I'm still aiming to be the fastest racer in chemo treatment again, and like the first FVMBA twoonie race, it will fall right on my low point again! :)

you can always make more money but you can never make more time.

I think it's called work for a reason. Or else they probably would have called it fun-time at the fun factory.

Don't know whether a sub 30lb or over 30lb bike, or 26er or 29er will win, but bet it will likely have some kind of dropper seatpost.
