Just a shout out to all who made Hemlock happen…..awesome weekend….so thank you very much.

No line ups and I know a few people banged off around 14 runs Sat and it was easy to get 2 practice runs in on Sunday…:damn:

I started late, had a long lunch and ended early and still managed 7 or 8 runs.

Now include a free movie and a BBQ dinner and the weekend shaped up to be a pretty good deal.

I dont know who asked the flies to take a vacation this weekend, but props to whoever convinced them to take the weekend off.

Sure hope the race continues on.

Maybe those who had taken pics on the weekend can post a couple up.

Also cool of CyclingBC(?) to get things to organized to award the series winners their prizes at the end of the day. Series winners received jerseys and a medal and they also recognized back to 3rd place. So props to CBC too.

Race day had a real nail biter with the last 3 pros doing a rerun due to a course closure. Tyler Gorz had to sit in the hot seat for about 30 minutes while the 3 riders made their way back up the course…..seems Adriano was the only one of the 3 to manage to better his time.

Oh and some Americian dude managed to do some ok announcing at the last minute, although a brad ewan voice " how will the story unfold" could have been well used for the wait for the last 3 pros.

I sure hope this race will be on the calendar again next year.

It was a great event. Even as a non rider I had a great time, lots of stuff to keep you entertained all weekend long.[HTML_REMOVED]type=1[HTML_REMOVED]l=ad4c73ac53

It was an Incredible!!! weekend, I sure hope it goes on next year. Karla put together a smooth running event, and ironed out all the bugs from last year. Surprising everyone myself included I had more fun on the PA then on the bike. Easily the best "Race Weekend" of the year!!

Maybe leave the past in nbr and just say her name is Brittany Wood and I believe she posted the second fastest women's time of the day and took the BC Cup series overall in her category by a significant lead.
