FBC is happening Oct 2-3 with XC, DH and of course the drunken hill climb. Cook shack and free camping of course.

Easily the best event of the year hands down! Okay maybe after Arduum ;)

Broken leg will keep me away this year and it will be my first in 3 years of not going!

Hmm. I've never done the Full Boar, is the DH big bike (Demo8) or little bike (ReignX)?

Sustainable will be around forever.

Mildly curious. However my thin African skin gets goosebumps remembering all the race reports after this event in previous years with talks of snow, and other cold weather. It does seem to have all the ingredients for an epically fun gong show week-end away.

Biking: As addictive as cocaine, twice as expensive!

Good times on both. Big bike is best for some parts, little bike in others. I have used both and still can't decide. Bring the one that is closest to the truck. :)

hol-ee shit but that's a big hole

Yea I'm not overly stoked on riding in blizzard conditions either. It will be cold up top though, that's a given.

Funny thing is I've never done this race and I've only ridden the trail once on a MTB back in 2005, and up on a dirtbike a few times.

maybe the top will turn into a bobsled run like last year. That was fun.

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

It was awesome. Warm, sunny and dry. Chayse Marshall shattered the old course record with a 14:49! I can't believe he did that trail in that amount of time.
