4th Annual Dirt Diggler DH Fall Classic 2009 (Fernie, BC)

4th Annual dirt diggler DH will be held Saturday Sept 12th/09.
be aware that this is a fall classic…with emphasis on 'fall' in other words its on Saturday, no back up day.
Please meet at Rotary Park near the highway and 7th street
Registration will be from Sept 1st till Sept 20th 8:00AM.
PLEASE dont wait till the last minute. that morning is hectic enough as it is.
there will be a cap on the number of participants due to the length of time it takes to get everyone..Don't forget about the volunteers, down off the mountain.
There are three pre-requisites again this year for the DH.
#1 for $25.00 bones; U get a '09 dirt diggler DH
t-shirt, a chance at winning the braggin rights and the trophy with your name on it, some draw prizes from the sponsors and having a great time riding and apres 'the PUB' for the food and bevy's apres.
#2 have ridden this trail before…preferably more than once. this is a serious course for expert riders… intermediate riders need not apply.
#3 get down the mountain…in one piece. \m/
We are looking for VOLUNTEERS in these areas..
-draw prizes (anything you think a human might like or enjoy)
-shuttles or drivers for the riders and volunteers
-on course VOLUNTEERS (first aid, checkpoints)…and yes, more is fantastic.
-timers at start and finish. 2 at each.
as a volunteer there will be a free dirt diggler 09 t-shirt, bevy's [HTML_REMOVED] appy's
at the PUB.
this event cannot happen without the aid of volunteers, its a great way to help the biking community and support the riders in the event.
We had a great event last year with the sun shining. The course was fast and furious..its also seen some more upgrades.
