we would love it if someone with some photog skills could snap a few pictures at the event. we have some print media lined up that needs some decent photos.
thanks, Mike
??? you coming out?
want to but i'll be working all day sat.
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Signed up! Is the feed zone in the same place as last time? I need to go stash a couple of bottles beforehand.

saw that. Awesome. Since more grassroots, meaning no tight Cycling BC regulations, we really don't have a designated feed zone. We are going to suggest top of Cardiac and will try and leave a table there. Plus it is easy to access post race as no need to have to descend and climb back up to your car.
see you Saturday!

Online reg closes at 9pm tomorrow night. Save some money and help the organizers have a smooth day and register in advance.
Day of goes up $15. Which is still a deal at $40 for 17 and over and $30 for U17.
Single day insurance available so no need to have a race license.
Come and have some fun and suffer!
Don't forget you'll get a BBQ too!
Thanks to Mike, westcoast racing, and all the volunteers for putting on a great race! I only wish I hadnt buried myself on the grassy section trying to catch a guy riding on the road to yell at him…only to find out he wasnt even in the race
thanks again to everyone who came out to race. Had 70 riders line up to tackle arguably the hardest XC race in lower mainland, proof that XC isn't dead. Results and write up posted on the website. thanks again to www.univercity.ca for hosting and to the BMBA, City of Burnaby for keeping the trails ridable!
