I see someone has posted a link to the series and started a thread below, but here are the actual official details to make sure everyone is up to speed with what is happening!
Yes the 2014 BC Enduro Series is coming this summer along with the Kootenay Rockies Enduro Series so all those over the east side of Province and the Albertans have a series to focus on close to home as well. We would like to welcome on board Norco Bicycles as presenting sponsor for both series. Local bike shops in each community are also board to help with the planning from a local perspective.
BC Enduro Series Locations and Dates:
1. May 17-18: Penticton The Bike Barn (with the help also from Freedom Bike Shop)
2. June 7-8: North Vancouver Norco John Henry Bikes
3. June 28: Kelowna Kelowna Cycle / Sovereign Cycle (with the help also from TBS Bike Parts)
4. July 26-27: Sunshine Coast Off the Edge
5. Aug 3: Rossland Rubberhead Enduro (Revolution Bikes and Gerick's Cycle assisting)
6. Sep 13-14: Revelstoke Skookum Ski and Bike
KR Enduro Series:
1. June 15: Canmore Outside Ski and Bike (with the help of Bicycle Cafe)
2. July 12: Kimberley Kootenay Mountain Works
3. July 19-20: Golden Higher Ground Sports
4. Aug 3: Rossland Rubberhead Enduro
5. Sep 13-14: Revelstoke Skookum Ski and Bike
Our Goal:
- To offer all types of mountain bike riders the opportunity to explore BC, visit new towns, and ride new trails! All of this, while experiencing some great competition along the way!
- Provide Pro riders the opportunity to use this series as a stepping stone to bigger events, like the Enduro World Series.
- Provide the opportunity for youth development in mountain bike riding and racing within Canada.
- To Provide a diverse range of stages from technical to flowy, longer to shorter, pure descents to more pedal power stages. All of this in the hopes of finding the best 'all mountain' enduro rider!
- Last but not least, to give back to the local trails that these races are held on. A total of over $14,000 will be put back into these local communities to help maintain and continue to grow their trail networks for us all to continue to enjoy.
$1,500 total cash prize pool to be allocated to the top men and women at each and every event along with $2,100 to be allocated for the overall series podium winners.

All races will be capped at 200 until I get confirmation from all our permit applications that this can be raised to 250.
