that was your airshock that sounded like a shotgun going off?

I dunno man. Theres a good chance, considering I rammed the damper so far up the shock I cant get it fixed. At least Ill have a nice coil shock for the Nationals. Man, this sport is expensive.

So has it been long enough to start poking at Dave? The boards are quite boring without his smack talk…hopefully all that sand didn't jam up his sarcasm gland.

dear DW,
since you got like a million bucks now, can i borrow $2850 for a Revolt frame?

thanks,
steve

Dave is on holiday this week.

Be nice to him.

My take: He was not having an ounce of fun riding the course. As anyone that rides regularly knows, if you aren't having any fun your bike on a particular trail then you need to ride somewhere else. His late evening pre-race run on Arduum was not a good one and he was left feeling that it would not be worth it to race. So he bowed out.

I respect the mans decision. He volunteered all weekend in one form or another and helped many times in shuttling, photographing and building the course.

So please, be nice.

oh i know why he didn't race so there has been a moratorium on dave-poking. I also respect the decision he made and appreciate all the vollie work he did for the race….HOWEVER it's Dave and he would be sad if we babied him

bwahaha, you guys are too funny, I figured it would have been a free for all this week!

Dean nailed it, I don't have much more to add.

Not sure about Bear. I need to get back to having fun on my bike again, racing this year is doing the opposite for me.

A week in Rossland did wonders for having fun though!
