Holy front page story, Batman!

Great story Dan, and wicked shots.

Wow, I totally agree Dave. Thanks to Dan for getting it done and Cam for putting it on the front page. The organizing team of the Arduum Challenge is stoked to have the support it did with such a compressed timeline. Dan's article captures the concept of the course and the atmosphere we were hoping for. :)

I handled the race the same way I work any top-to-bottom event - start at the top and work down, snapping riders as they passed. I had 48 riders to get through, if I timed it right I'd catch the last one just as they crossed the finish line, and I'd have a nice set of shots showing the entire course to its best.

Well hopefully next time at this event you'll have double or triple the amount of time to cover it!

You guys both felt you had to prove something, when in reality if you both did smooth cruiser runs you would have likely smoked everyone by a long shot.

If I thought for a second that my 7 months pregnant wife would let me get away with a 3rd weekend in a row away from home, I'd consider Port Alberni too. I've got some redemption to settle with myself.

shit, I can hear her yelling thorough the computer again..

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

More of an uncomfortable silence actually.

I'm not psychic, but I'm pretty sure that meant no.

I can't believe the quality of your shots Dan - especially given the conditions. Hats off to the organizers

ya, it sucks. Spent the morning in an ambulance and emerg in Abby. Little bummed about the back. I hope is heals 100%. Lots of riding to do this winter! Congrats and props to all the racers it was a knarly coarse. Congrates even to gay people riding pink shockers!

Thanks to everyone for making this a great race! I was super stoked to see so many girls there!!! I will definitely be back again next year and maybe this time I'll be able to keep the rubber side down on the track a bit more!
