i think its a good course. its all stuff that i would ride over a weekend. Whistler doesnt have that much extreme gnar (thats why i love when i get to ride in pemby) Jaws could be a fun addition.

I am with clark on this. Moar pinning it and the trails will get rowdy enough.

the enduro format you'll be riding the timed sections fast enough to bring the fear level up to gravitron-on-a-trail-bike status

hah, not this clown: by the kings i'm hoping to have 2 whole weeks of tech riding under my belt after 8 months of riding nothing but (admittedly terrible) dirt roads; stage 2 and 4 i'll be in pure survival mode

Seems ideal really. Shouldn't the event cover all the types of riding in the Valley?

I'm pretty sure i'm going to be at the back of the pack on the long day anyway, and knowing that some XC types suffered on Jaws two hours before i got there, but slayed it on the climbs that i'm sucking wind on seems OK with me.

I'll add a Jaws sector in for you…think of it as like your own private blood bath (actually the real blood bath would be 27 switchbacks :))

i respectfully disagree, there's plenty of scary terrain around here.

i would like to hear what you consider gnarly in the valley, considering that you have probably ridden gravatron, JTR and chain links on a chromag.
im thinking gargamel (though havent ridden it), jaws, maybe RDS?

Gargamel, diary of a madman, trespasser, and several unmentionables.
Jaws and RDS wouldn't be on my list, they are only challenging in short sections.
Hard to beat gravitron though for relentless balls-to-the-wall terror.

are you allowed to pedal to trespasser?
want to pm me any of the unmentionables? are they all off the bike park or actually in the valley?
