Looks like Claudio crashed hard on his Go Pro lap of Losinj.
I have no idea who's hot & who's not for the opening race of the season. I would expect the usuals....Gwin, Minaar. Moir maybe (yeah), Brosnan, Hart, Bruni etc. Then what about Finn making  the leap?

I did pretty well on PB Fantasy League... except I got drunk and didn't actually trade away Miller for Cabirou in the women's as I intended to do, otherwise I would've been top 25 in the world. Dang it.

Great race, thought the track was interesting. Nicole was super smooth and aggressive in womens. Cool to see some newer/younger guys up there in mens.

No one talks about WCDH racing anymore, but it was a great race. Very exciting season so far this year.

Looks like Ben Cathro is going to get granted longer coverage for his You Tube channel from Red Bull. He's currently limited to show only 3 mins of riding footage per day. Stoked for him and everyone that enjoys his awesome analysis.

Stoked to see Pierron take 2 in a row. His interviews are a breath of fresh air.

Impressed to see the Bulldog doing so well just after breaking his collarbone.

Mark Wallace a solid 10th place.

The USA has a lot of young riders doing well.

I'm enjoying WCDH more than ever with Cathro's videos and Fantasy DH on the other bike website. I thought coverage of the Leogang track was excellent, lots of focus on the tech sections and good camera angles (motorbike chase cam, cable cam in finish area etc).

Was bummed for Luca Shaw, partly because I had him in my pool, but he was on a heater. Gwin impressive as hell with his beat up hand... good to see a tight race for overall in both men and womens. Also Vali Holl is a badass, winning women's juniors by 15s with a crash.

Cathro Vision seems to be well and truly out of the bag. He's doing an "Inside the tape" special for Pinkbike tomorrow. Stoked for him. Only a matter of time until he's in the commentary box surely?

cathro's pro level nerdery rocks. claudio is a rad guy, but his work in the booth isn't the strongest. i think ben's insight would be a solid improvement.

Yeah they should send Claudio out on the track to talk to the riders during the race.

you think the riders would have time for that? shouldn't their focus be on winning the race instead of talking to reporter on their race run?

They do it already. There is a lady goes to the top and chats to certain riders before they race. You obviously haven't been watching closely enough ;)

Two Canadians in the top 8, three in the top 25. Two Pierrons in the top 12, lol. Wallace keeps getting top tens. Gwin said there are a couple sections of the Black Snake they should change because they are too hazardous.

Another great race for sure, stoked to see Mark and Finn up there with good results. Did pretty well in Fantasy this week as I had Pierron, Shaw, Atherton and Hrastnik...

Bit surprising to see Greg and a few other top guys go down in that corner in the woods.

GeeMan seems to be getting back up to speed.

Charlie spent quite the afternoon in the hot seat.

That was an awesome race to watch, both women and men. Sick to see Rachel going balls out and pushing hard, haven't seen her do that in a while. Gee top 10 still recovering from a broken hand, dude is hard AF.

Goofed up my fantasy points by betting on Vaea and Magnus Manson "home field" advantage, d'oh... should've stuck with Hrastnik and Wyn.
