A whole host of people back on 27.5 for this proper downhill track (Brendog, Nicola, Team GT to name a few). Going to be interesting to see how the 29ers compare.

This course has Hart written all over it.

Frustrating how transparent the "other" site is relative to their pushing of the 29er revolution and not a peep on this development.

Shame Greenland can't source 26er parts.

Yeah I thought the same. They were all over the 29 trek when in their testing they were saying it was +4 seconds faster than an identical 27.5 bike. But not much written about the on the switch back to 27.5 for so many riders.

Advertising pays the bills I suppose.

Yep... just a brutal looking crash:

"Bernard suffered from broken ribs, a concussion, separated shoulder and torn ligaments in his shoulder. He is now on the path to recovery after surgery on his shoulder - they were able to put in artificial shoulder ligaments to help with his progress. Give Bernard your support by using"

I'm at a wedding this weekend and it's gonna be hard to watch the race/replay... might struggle to stay off the internet until Monday night when I can watch. Gonna guess:

Vergier

Gwin

Minnaar

Hannah

Atherton

Nicole

and Finn in juniors

Well now. Hopefully this means I'll be able to keep buying 27.5 inch paraphernalia for the foreseeable future.

Danny looked loose as hell.. can't believe he didn't eat it at that one point.

A big difference between Greg's run & Danny's. Minaar runs so smooth. Danny hangs it out. Glad to see Troy take his second.

That was awesome. A proper downhill track all the way down. Hart was on fire, holy. Pleased for Troy and his wheels!

Wonder if Greg would've won had he been on 650b?

Shitty for Neko.  Fucking weird time to pull that shit.

Gwinn is fast.

Warner has gotten really tiring.  Would be nice to have someone who isn't so transparent.

I haven't heard "LOOK AT THE TIME!" for awhile. Is he still allowed to use it? He used to be funny back in the day before he drank the Red Bull corporate koolaid. Oh well, at least we get free coverage of races. Good to see some fresh faces in the top 20. Marin's crash looked ugly...dislocated elbow.
