Talk about carnage, holy smokes. Some of those crashes were scary. Stoked for Danny. Looks like the youngsters are taking over.

What happened to Gwin's wheel? Wondering what they were pointing to on the course. Probably couldn't have caught Hart, but love to have seen his run!

Apparently it was damaged earlier in his run and then imploded spectacularly… too bad. Would have been nice to see if he could have challenged Hart… but oh well that's racing.

Awesome race and it was cool that they showed all the racers (well most of them, since multiple on course at once). I thought the new dude had a good knowledge of the sport but prefer just listening to Claudio and Warner ("Apologies for the nudity on the course today… it's a full moon out there… with some sunshine").

Stoked for Hart, I love his style. He is the best technically gifted rider on the circuit imo. But I feel for Gwin. I also love his powerful style and I wish he'd win a championship.

So I guess Giant should have pinned their hopes on Hart instead of Gutierrez-Villegas? They kept the wrong guy.

"Have you seen that?"

Man, holes the size of hot tubs. I'd love to see DH Danny Hart become the mens version of Rachel (Racel). How Loic rode* that* track with a blown rear at quarter speed is amazing. Most of the first 30-40 riders looked tight and scared, of course I would be too, but you know.

have you seen that Claudio was polite with new guy, but decided he was never going to work a connection. To me that says it all.

Brits killing it in the Olympic cycling and now the DH. Where do these guys and girls learn to ride DH like that?! It's not Redcar that's for sure.
