Sounds like Josh could be let go by the Syndicate. Especially since Peaty is retiring. I hope Blenky is okay after that crash. Appears to have sent him for a loop. Damn Daniel! 3 in a row to end the season.

A somewhat anti-climatic finish to the race. All celebrations at the bottom while Brosnan is still in the start gate at the top. Even Claudio thought the race was done.
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
Yeah. Damn you weather.
Yeah. Damn you weather.
When the rains started coming down part way thru the race, it reminded me of MSA in 2013 when Stevie won in the wet.

Rumours are Luca Shaw to Syndicate (from SRAM TLD, already riding on a V10) and possibly Bryceland quitting racing? Must be a mental thing if he is not feeling it anymore, but he's young enough I would think he could have another few good seasons.
why do some guys get teary eyed about Sam Hill. i didn't follow the sport then (barely do now) and i see from old clips that he was a helluva rider, dominant at times. was he particularly charming or something? reading some forums about DH and the upcoming race and so much mention of Sam Hill. riding style, what? that run from Danny Hart in 2011 seems about the greatest feat of riding i think i've ever seen.

Sam Hill is a legend because he was the first of his kind. He wasn't that consistent, but when he was on there was simply nothing like it. His line choice, his wild controlled drifting and his effortlessness was unprecedented. And prior to Danny Hart's Champery result, Sam Hill had already performed a miracle there. It's too bad he crashed, but that almost makes it more insane. From what I recall, if you took his actual real competitors in that race (the ones who raced in the wet) he was something like 14 seconds ahead with a crash that involved full separation from his bike. To be so close to anyone in the dry is nothing short of the best race run in history to that point. I wouldn't say he was charming in interviews in the least, but he sure changed the way people raced DH, because if they didn't change they wouldn't have had a chance.

I'm not much of a pro sports guy, BUT that DH Danny Hart run has to be the best commentary I have ever heard! Shiver me Timbers that's exciting calling. I'd love the lad to put another run like that together tomorrow. Frozen in a time-The nineteen year old legend-Will always be king.

Spot on post. Also the legendary 2008 World Champs run where he washed out the last corner and crashed to a dead stop/off his bike in Val Di Sole and STILL finished 3rd.
Plus, he's always on flats.

Mondraker 1, 2, 3.
That's never happened before I'm sure.
Did Warner get totally cut off at the end there?
exciting for the young Canadians. let's hope they become the top dogs in the elite category in a few years.
Bryceland leaving the WC circuit to reduce his carbon footprint? Never saw that coming! Wonder what he is going to do instead… stay in the bike industry in general somehow or just get some lame 9-5 avg joe job like the rest of us?
what's with that commentating preppy dude at the end?? he sure was annoying. awesome race tho. Go Hart go!!
