Maybe the other riders should get some Jesus like Gwin has. Winning by that much on such a short track. The guy is good. Bruni must be pissed that he flatted. He would have stayed in the hunt for the overall.

I'll say it again, a stiff fork wins races. Well, a stiff fork and a guy strong enough to manhandle it like a boss. He made the hillside look small. He stiff armed a lot of the drop offs while other guys were getting swallowed up into the holes. Definitely shows confidence.

Watched the race live for once which was kinda nice. I thought Warner and Claudio were a bit more upbeat with the commentating than previous races as well. Gwin's run was ridiculous, just absolutely flying down the track, it was also nice to see Smith back on the podium.

Why do #4/#5 get on the podium in DH? Is that a universal thing to bike racing? In most sports it just 1/2/3.

Brosnan only 6 seconds back with what sounds like a pretty big crash is impressive too. He rarely crashes and was only .2 back at the first split so has some pace. Will be good to see how Val di sol [HTML_REMOVED] Andorra unfolds.

I never understood that either. Its like a participation medal for showing up. Hell, let's go 10 deep, who cares? If I was in that position I would probably speak differently, but going 5 deep seems silly to me.
