My first race ever, and I had a really good time! It was definitely pretty scary coming down in the dark essentially. That accident was really unfortunate.

I'm excited to do more races in the future though!

The full map page is nice.

Trace your cursor along the profile and it then moves the point on the map.

Mmm. It sucks when you're doing the subtle web-browsing on your phone from work though.

Not sure I can make this one. For some reason I thought these were running every other week. This caught me off-guard.

Never raced before and thinking of trying out one of the fivers. What's the start staging like for the downhills? I'm an intermediate and don't want to hold anyone up. (e.g. I do not ride the double/triple drop at the start of lower Severed at Penny Lane intersection).

Thanks shirk.

There is the ride around for the Severed section. No need to plow straight down the line of drops.

It is all self seeding so you can let the guy behind you know and if he wants to go ahead it's not a problem.

Volunteers needed for this week.

Injured or just don't want to race? Want to be part of the fun? We need some volunteers this week.

Specifically if you have first aid certificate we could really use your help this week.

email [email protected] for more details.

I'd let the rider starting behind me know to give you a good 30sec+ head start. Last race I had to pull over a couple of times because people were not waiting long enough. I will not be so courteous tomorrow…
