Excellent event! Race was great, liked the new-old line on Oilcan.

for some reason, i'd totally neglected oilcan (hadn't ridden it since last years toonie); forgot what a fun trail that is! the fall line loamer bits were super rad. has there been a bunch of new trail work? i don't recall the bench cut / paved parts before.

only one more toonie left! damn, the summer is flying by…

Over the last couple years LOC has seen some great work by Dizzy Cycles via TAP. Some of that was done last year after we used it in the Toonie.

Glad you guys liked the course. I was a little worried when taping LOC in the pouring rain on Wednesday, opened up the worst of the puddles to drain and they cleared out for last night.

LOC was a highlight for sure. That was probably my favourite course this year. And that cut over to Expresso is a nice bonus alternative to riding the BP chunder.

Might as well drop the knowledge before the hounds start foaming at the mouth asking for details.

Stage 1: Pile of Rocks

Stage 2: Executioner - Dreamweaver (full old school lower Dreamweaver down to where it meets Boundary)

With the big full 6th switchback to bottom stage there will just be two stages for the final week.

We will be collecting the timing tags at the bottom of Boundary, so you don't need to return all the way back to the Water Towers. The smart move would be to park down under the power lines on Breamer and then climb up to the start at the Water Towers. Apres will be at Steed Cycles.

^i was totally expecting that, for some reason (not many other trails that haven't been ridden, i suppose). fun!

of course, you could turn that into one mega stage for extra masochistic-ness.

That would be a bit too mean.

I am toying with adding a quick hit optional stage at the bottom (no not Bobsled).

It would be optional, the guys that show up early would have plenty of time to knock it out, anyone moving slower might not have the time or feel like using the extra energy. Oh and it would be chainless.

So, there's another toonie in 2 days! Any course info Shirk? I have a guess, but I don't want to have to pre-ride Bookus to Grannies to Boundary if I don't have to :agree:
