A quick look at the past two Toonie's results show xy9ine about 10 places ahead of dynasplit…So looks like dyna just needs to lay off the brakes and go faster. :)

Yeah, but is xy9ine on a hardtail? I'm pretty sure I get +10 spirit of enduro points for that.

But now that you've called me out online I have to defend my honor. Maybe we need to have a duel at next weeks Toonie.

Shirk could you divulge the course goods for Thursdays toonie?

As for dropping chains, I've dropped chains on a couple different systems with 1x10 and 1x11 on narrow wide chain rings, with Shimano and SRAM clutch derailleurs. Hard tails are probably less susceptible since the rear end isn't going through any motion relative to the chain ring. Since installing a tiny Blackspire Trail X guide around my 30 tooth chain ring I've yet to drop a chain, and like the added protection of the taco bash plate underneath.

I agree. The Gastown GP is tomorrow night, so pre-riding might be tough. I'm going to try to get out tomorrow AM to ride.

I'm going to pre-ride purely for safety. I ate it twice on stage 1 last time because I dove in blind.

Ps, Timmigrant can you please make it your mission to smash my friends on strava? That's all they talk about hahaha!

Hold tight map coming shortly.

But the highlights that will get you to where you need to go.

Severed to Shorn (using the new Severed entrance)
Applicator to Rapid Transit to Sticks and Stones
East end of Sticks and Stones lower Cardiac and the same finish down into the Blair Range that we used last time on Seymour.

Thanks for the info Shirk. I'll go and do a recon mission tonight after work. Sounds like a fun course.

Looks awesome!

Can you clarify Stage 2? After Rapid Transit, wouldn't the last bit be Salamader?

Is Stage 3 the same as the last Seymour Stage 3?

Seems I have my Slippery Salamander and Sticks n Stones mixed. I'll double check the names off the MTB Trails map when I get home. I had done up the map from memory at work today.

Agreed. I thought Sticks and Stones was below Bridal. Rapid Transit connects the first high corner on Salamander to the bottom of Applicator.
