I think blind will be fun. With how well trails are running now and all the work being done, running blind should not be a deterrent. Well visitors shouldn't be deterred:-). Are they going to be full blind, night of or? There are some big shortcuts on a couple of the trails that were discovered last year that had to be taped off…and yellow tape is a dead giveaway;-)

I don't have 650b wheels. Is it even worth showing up?

Maybe I'll add a special category. Klunkers, fixies, tandoms, and 26'ers.

me niether. We're screwed on our 26'ers. Although it will take 4.87% less energy to accelerate our 26ers they will have 11.88% less momentum when up to speed. what will we do? brake less perhaps?

FYI - the ladies pre-ride excluded a significant upper portion of the course. Perhaps it was a time thing?

Yes there was an error made on the first women's pre-ride.

In the rush of getting them off up the mountain I described the course wrong stating that it stated at the 3rd switchback instead of the 5th.

We'll ensure this does not happen again. I hope it does not discourage any ladies that were on the fence about participating form coming out.

I got spanked by the spirit of enduro yesterday. Pre rode the course and decided to take the old line into crinkum crankum. The entrance into the channel is eroded to shit - tried a few times to find a good line and ended up stacking the first drop, otb with the bike tomahawking down the trail.

The courses uses the new mellow entrance, no gnar chutes. On the map you can see how it goes back towards the 3rd switchback to the new bit of trail.

Yeah that section is rowdy!! I always miss the new line and end up going down that. Hope I actually see the proper route this time.

I know, but totally spaced for some reason. I rode the entrance 5 times! trying to find the racer line. Finally tried to launch in and crashed hard… Fun course though, should be a blast today
