2013 Sunshine Coaster reg is live.

just rode it, it's not very technical at all, it's a tough haul with some good climbs. but there was just one moment on pumpkin patch where I messed up on gearing and couldn't make a climb. It had some really fun downhill sections, especially one through some tight trees and on some dirt (real live dirt!). Looking forward to this as a pre-amble to the year's racing for sure now!

A few log bridges (3 or 4?) the downhills are all very groomed and nothing you can't roll with ease. 1 ladder bridge, but you can ride around it.

comparable… nothing on the north shore, more like squamish cross country trails but with more dirt.

I'm using this as a early season tune up… as I haven't raced properly for years and for some reason I decided to give the TOM another go this year. It's a good excuse to get over to the SSC though.

lol DFL. You guys have no idea about DFL until you've had a nap during the race.

Well, I did stop to work on a friend's bike during the race last year. A nap would have been much nicer though.

Another highlight was stopping to watch the bears hanging out on the course. Being up at the front of the pack must be so boring, you'd miss all that!

That was a fun day, a bit muckier than I thought as it only started to rain at start time… I was going to switch tires but left my Icon's on… that was a bit of a mistake. Definitely will do this again next year.
