153 racers

This made me less inclined to stop and register. Looked like a gong show :S

Worked out quite well. Even had some Victoria people who arrived very late due to the fuel spill on the malahat and they got practice runs. Lots had done training runs before. Great vibe and 100% finished the race.

and I bounced off a tree…with no crash I would have made top 10 in beginner if I had a clean run!!!

and that was my second time on the bike since last Halloween

So much fun!

Major props to all the vollies!!! They looked cold….

Agreed, they all contributed to how smooth the entire event went. The bike tose and skinny competition was a great idea while waiting for the awards.

total scam. he put food before beer.

Great day of racing! Major props to UROC and all the helping hands, everything went super smoothly.

Another huge shout out to the fans, it was anawesome show of support.

Does anyone know where/when pics might be posted?

Now if only I can find out how exactly to shave off 35 seconds off my time, maybe I'll be on the podium next year.

Major props and thanks to all the vollies/organizers!! Was a great time (regardless of my shit performance).

…And thanks to Timmigrant and Glenn for the heckling/bickering/wiki-quoting/froggin'/and the assorted off-colour banter on the drive to and from the ferry….the RattleCanyonero may never be the same.

Hahahha … cheers for picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry terminal. That was a super fun week-end. The Riding Fool Hostel was awesome. At only $30 for a race and a complementary burger it's value for money racing like none other. The course was super fun to ride. Volunteers and organizers were awesome. I can't say enough good things about that race.

Does anyone have any pictures?
