Lol. Don't take it too serious, anyone older than 19 with a Citizen license is a senior citizen :)

What time do your XC races usually start?

Disappointed I won't be able to make the 12 hours of Cumberland this year, it was awesome last year.

Most races are 12noon starts. We are looking at possible pre-registration online to make arriving close to start a possibility.

Hey Tom, have you got people interested in a team for the Cumberland race?? If not, I'd be interested.
I've been trying to make some of the Island races for years and I've used all my excuses up.

I can't go this year because

A - it's the same day as Bear
B - the wife said "there's no way in hell you are leaving me at home with a 2 year old and a newborn for the whole weekend"

I would definitely be into doing some of those earlier races though (up to and including April 10 in Cumberland)

Cool. That makes it easier to get over there. I figured you guys wouldn't be starting at 9 am like us mainlanders.

You did notice the large number of kids, mums, families and more at the 12 hrs of Cumberland eh? There was even a run bike and trike race :)

Yes…but I don't think we'll be ready to travel over there with a 2 year old and a 6 week old. Next year though.

I also have to avenge my DNF at Bear Mountain XC last year.

Are those marathon dates correct? June 6 (Sproat Lake) and October 3 (The Ramble) are both Mondays (and not long weekends).

Sproat Lake (which is an ass kicker)
Port Alice (which is an ass kicker)
THC (which is an ass kicker)
[HTML_REMOVED] Hornby Island…

back to back weekends?

that is going to be some serious pain.
