I should find you this vid i saw of tj lavin in his back yard, he has essentially a diving board going into his jumps, it is a good 15 to 20 foot drop in this steep short trannie and he does it so smoothly on his bmx that you would swear it was just a roll in.

Oh, and the BMX kid in the original pic is hucking it nicely. I saw a kid attempt (I stress attempt) a 4 foot by 7 foot stairgap (Brighouse for those who know it) on a BMX the other day. He was 11 years old, and didn't eat as much shit as I was expecting him to. He saw some other kids doing it, and wanted to try it, he couldn't even bunnyhop…

I just remebered thinking it was like 20 foot high from my exagerated memory, it is still fuckin high though, especially if you think of it above the ground instead of above the tranny. So smooth though is whats awesome, did you guys catch the awesome jump to manual thing in like the 4th clip, it is crazy.

Universalcycles.com sucks donkey nuts. do not order anything from them. order a wheel pay extra for 2day shipping it will be almost a freaking month before the damned thing gets here and that is not because of backorder. They suck donkey nuts
the only thing thats scary about doing drops to trannies on a bmx is the amount of speed you pick up on landing and the run out. Remember that you only have a crappy u-brake! Biggest drop to a tranny ive done was about 6foot.
But if you watch videos of bmx, you see in parks people dropping more than that into flatbanks from wallrides and stalls etc.:)
