Nice shots Dave. You should try to pick up a few CTO gels for your flashes. They come in 1/4 increments and are orange in color. Basically they will shift your flash color to a warmer temp so you don't get that "Flashed" look in the images. The color difference between the ambient and the 5500 flash temp always gives it away.
CTO gel is cheap, like 5 bucks for a 18" by 18" sheet. You'll find it fun to work with, just tape a bit on to your flash head and presto.
You can also have a bit of fun running one flash with it on out front (To front light) and then have a flash for separation in the back not running it so you get a rim light that is more "White" (Blue).
Concert lighting techs do this all the time to highlight band members without washing them out in blue light, making them look pasty.
