Stirling Grassick hit by Car?

I know this is not the Right board really, but I'll throw a picture in for good measure.

From the sounds of it, Local Kelowna young gun Sterling Grassick and and another young guy were hit by a car.

From what I can tell Sterling broke his Femur and had some pretty serious swelling of the brain. They Induced a Coma so he could heal. He has since woken up.

Sounds like the prognosis is good for him to get better. He is young and healthy.

Just wanted to give him a shout out and send some healing vibes.

Get better dude.

I heard that Daniel is out of the hospital now I think, but Stirling should be able to have some visitors later on this afternoon. Best wishes to them and their families!

From what I've been able to gather so far, the driver stopped, wasn't drunk, unsure on charges.. They were walking with traffic in the bike lane because the road they were on had no sidewalk.
