I'm happy to get outside and enjoy nature while I can, but I fear for the future of humanity
you're a manly man Mr. Taylor. I rode Seymour on an 8" travel bike yesterday and thought it was choppy, you're making it smooth on that hardtail.
So awesome. There needs to be more videos like this. This is the stuff that gets me stoked on riding.
Ride, don't slide.
Thanks for the comments guys, glad you like it! I did a little writeup to accompany the video/shoot here: www.nsmb.com/out-on-a-limb/

Now that is just straight awesome.
Kids these days and their DH 4-lane Freeways.
Tech that shit back up!
Ya know, I've never cleaned that skinny at 0:30. I've been riding that trail for years and I think I've only tried 2 or 3 times. Always too afraid for my rotors.
You made it look easy!
I think I'd like to try the skinnies on a hardtail, but the rest I feel like I'd puss out on.
Cool little vid, been a long time since I rode Pangor and brings back memories

truly excellent video and back story.
In the link you mention "However, with a lack of builders willing to truly restore these pieces of history, the trail building and riding style in question is at risk of becoming obsolete". I think there are plenty of willing builders, but land owners not so much. Hopefully in the near future there can be some accommodation to retain some of these classic features as long as alternative lines can be provided to address land owner concerns.
Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.
Very nice video.
Perfect timing too as i was restricted to light xc riding for the past few years due to injury and am just now getting back into more technical riding.
